WABC Weathergirl Faked Rape Story

For months, weather babe Heidi Jones had convinced sympathetic colleagues at WABC/Channel 7 that she had nearly been raped while jogging in Central Park.
Yesterday, that compassion turned to rage when staffers at the TV station learned that Jones had been lying all along.
"It was an outrageous lie," said a fuming WABC staffer, who like others were "flabbergasted" to learn of the deception by reading about it in The Post.

New Hampshire Democrats: If You Pray for America, You Have a 'Bible-Belt Agenda'

The party of tolerance strikes again in New Hampshire.  According to the spokesperson of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, Harrell Kirstien, the speech below by state Rep. David Bates is an attempt to impose a new theocracy on the US.  That may come as a surprise to most Christians who attend church and hear the same message of sin, redemption, and the need for atonement and prayer just about every Sunday.  In response, a conservative political group has demanded an apology from the Democrats for Kirstien’s “bigotry.”  Watch the video and see just where Bates calls for a government imposition of prayer vigils:

Florida: GOP May Replace Early Primary With Straw Poll

 Look out Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire. Republicans in the nation's biggest swing state are preparing to weigh in on their party's presidential nominee as early as fall 2011.
The concept: a non-binding Florida straw poll at a massive event billed as ``Presidency V,'' which would also feature a nationally televised presidential debate. The plan, still in its infancy, enjoyed wide support from Republican Party of Florida leaders at its quarterly meeting last weekend.

Squishy Republican Kathleen Parker Threatens to Quit CNN Show

Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker actually stormed off the set of the "Parker Spitzer" show during a pre-taping a few weeks ago -- furious that her co-host is continually allowed to take charge of their nightly CNN chat-fest, the insiders said.
Although still fuming, Parker did return to wrap up the segment, they said.
But she's angry that the show's producers are allegedly doing nothing to play up her strengths on the ailing show, the sources said.

Everybody Hates Bloomberg

With Mike Bloomberg thrown in for a three-way race with Romney, Mayor Mike gets only 11%, with more of it apparently taken from the Republican column. As a result, Obama's lead grows to 44%-38%, plus Bloomberg's 11%.

In addition, Bloomberg's national favorable rating is only 19%, only half of his unfavorable rating of 38%. Republicans view him negatively at 12%-48%, Democrats at 24%-30%, and independents at 19%-37%.
