"No, I'm not. I'm not," Michael Moore said to Piers Morgan after the CNN host asked him to admit that he was in the "one-percent."
"How could I be in the 1%. Listen, I do really well. I do well. But, what's the point though?" Moore said.

Squishy Republican Kathleen Parker Threatens to Quit CNN Show

NEW YORK - MARCH 10: (FILE PHOTO) New York Go...Image by Getty Images via @daylifeHooker aficionado Elliot Spitzer is apparently driving Kathleen Parker nuts because of his power grabs on their show. She is tired of being used like a pair of black socks.

Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker actually stormed off the set of the "Parker Spitzer" show during a pre-taping a few weeks ago -- furious that her co-host is continually allowed to take charge of their nightly CNN chat-fest, the insiders said.
Although still fuming, Parker did return to wrap up the segment, they said.
But she's angry that the show's producers are allegedly doing nothing to play up her strengths on the ailing show, the sources said.

Florida: Scott Takes the Lead Over Sink

TAMPA, FL - OCTOBER 25: Gubernatorial candidat...Image by Getty Images via @daylife
Following Monday night’s debate, momentum in Florida’s race for governor appears to be slowly shifting to Rick Scott. Republican Scott jumped to a 2-point lead immediately prior to, and during, his red-hot CNN slugfest with Democrat Alex Sink.

Sunshine State News' nightly tracking poll of likely voters shows Scott moving from a 45-45 tie with Sink on Oct. 20 to a 47-45 advantage Monday night.

Two weeks earlier (Oct. 12-13), Sink held a 48-45 advantage.

Democrat Controlled Media Accidentally Driving Obama/Muslim Rumor

In this study, the researchers looked at media coverage of the rumor from June 1, 2008 through Election Day, November 4.

They examined coverage on seven major television networks – ABC, CBS, CNN, Fox, MSNBC, NBC and PBS's News Hour with Jim Lehrer. They also examined coverage of the rumor in more than 25 newspapers around the country, including USA Today, the New York Times and the Washington Post.

The researchers employed a relatively new approach to determine how often Americans were using the Web to search for information about the rumor. They used Google Trends, a service of the online search company Google, which can be used to track how often particular search terms are entered into the search site.

RedState.com Editor to Become CNN Contributor

How will Erick Erickson react to having a much smaller audience?

Back in January, Politico noted that Erickson (pictured at right) and CNN denied a rumor floating around at the time that the Macon, Ga.-based conservative blogger would replace John King. It turns out Erickson will be a regular contributor to a brand new weekday evening program to be hosted by the veteran anchor.

CNN/Obama Hack Calls Rush Limbaugh 'Stupid, Fat Idiot'

I have to hand it to this guy, he is very original.
The fat part might have even been accurate about a decade ago.

10 Tips for the Weekend Gardener

Depending on your geographic location, choose drought-tolerant or
water-loving native or non-invasive exotic plants, and always purchase the
best quality plants and shrubs -- ask your retailer about plant life
guarantees -- be sure to keep your receipts.

Group plants together based on how much shade, sun and watering they
need.

Start your gardens off with organic fertilizer and other organic
products. If switching over from chemical to organic products, do it in
steps -- adding more organic fertilizer and less synthetic over a two-week
period.

Fertilize and mulch garden beds and potted plants -- the water will
evaporate into the mulch and fertilizer, and keep the plants protected and
watered as needed.

Water your plants early in the morning, and water them at the root
zone, for a longer period of time, but less often. Watering longer but less
often encourages hardy plants with deeper roots. After a heavy rain, skip
the regular watering regime.

Save water by using a full watering can rather than a hose, and bend
from the knees to protect your back from the weight of the water and the
can.

Accept less-than-lush gardens and lawns during dry periods, and be
aware that flowers, plants and lawns will regenerate after heavy rains.
Clear out dead trees and trim back leafy trees to allow more light in
on lawns and gardens.

Check automatic sprinkler systems to be sure they are operating
properly and not watering the sidewalk and driveway, and re-adjust the time
and positioning of the sprinklers as needed.

For lawn care, mow high and use a sharp blade -- 3 inches is
recommended. High growth increases grass' tolerance to drought and
insect/disease problems, and clean cut grass blades lose less water than
tattered cut blades of grass.
