Is it intimidation or a conversation starter? "It" is an Internet service, Google Maps, that provides the names, donation amount and location of anyone who donated $100 or more to the successful California Proposition 8 initiative establishing a constitutional amendment that defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Tom Hanks Apologizes for Attack on Mormons
"Last week, I labeled members of the Mormon church who supported California's Proposition 8 as 'un-American,'" the actor said in a statement through his publicist. "I believe Proposition 8 is counter to the promise of our Constitution; it is codified discrimination."
"But everyone has a right to vote their conscience; nothing could be more American," the statement continues. "To say members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who contributed to Proposition 8 are 'un-American' creates more division when the time calls for respectful disagreement. No one should use 'un- American' lightly or in haste. I did. I should not have."

Horrific Video: Gay Protestors Attack Old Lady at Church, Stomp on Her Cross
Notice at the end, the politically correct anchorman says that there's a lot of hate "on both sides."
Really? I don't think anyone will agree after seeing this video.
Now really, how in the world do you think this helps your case? Did Ghandi or Nelson Mandela do crap like this?
I look at this and see my little old mother in the woman being attacked in this video. That does not endear me to your cause.

Small Victory in California Gay Marriage Circus
The California Supreme Court has refused to hear a case seeking to keep an initiative that would ban gay marriage off the November ballot. The justices' decision not to take up the case means Proposition 8 will stay on the ballot barring further legal action. It also clears the way for the secretary of state to print voter information pamphlets on the issue.
The initiative seeks to amend California's constitution to ban same-sex nuptials in the state. It would overrule a May decision by the state Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage.

Obama Supports California Gay Marriage
Obama's position on Proposition 8 was announced at a club event Sunday. Last week, Arizona Sen. John McCain, the expected GOP standard-bearer in November, told officials of Protect Marriage, a coalition that gathered 1.1 million signatures for the California measure, that he backs their efforts "to recognize marriage as a unique institution between a man and a woman."
