Is Obama Backing into General Election?
It seems like Hillary has been winning most of the primaries lately—mostly in the big states and swing states. However, because of the bizarre system the Democrats have for choosing a Presidential candidate, Obama keeps holding on to his slim margin. So the candidate with the most momentum can't seem to grab the lead, no matter how many primaries she wins.
An analogy can be drawn between Obama and a sports team which piles up wins during the middle part of a season, then collapses at the end—and manages to sneak into the playoffs without any momentum.
The media would make it seem like Obama has the momentum, but why does he keep losing battleground states? Why can't he close the deal?
