Wisconsin: Northeast of the State Strongly Favors Republicans

Northeast Wisconsin residents have more confidence in Republicans than Democrats, but half of them believe it’s bad for a single party to have total control, according to a new poll.

A random phone survey of 538 residents in the 18-county New North region found 44 percent of responders believe Republicans can better manage the state government, while 32 percent said Democrats can do better.
