Barack Obama obliterated every political fundraising and spending record in U.S. history.
The Illinois senator harvested more campaign cash than anyone before him, using both the Internet and traditional high-roller dinners to bring in more than $650 million from some 3 million donors for his presidential campaign. The 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, John Kerry, raised less than half that amount, as did George W. Bush and Al Gore combined in 2000.

Fundraising was a big piece of why Obama won.....Obama had almost twice as much campaign money as McCain had...and with the help of the liberal MSM illuminati~ there you have it! Obama is now President! Media + Money = Power and a win!
ReplyDeleteThe headline says Obama bought the election. But did he?
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't his money. It was money he was given, in contrast to everything that's happend before in fundraising, by lots and lots of people.
The people bought him the election, if you really think it was only the money that made him win.
Up to now, a small set of rich donors have bought elections.
Now, which do you prefer? Many small working-class people getting involved in politics or only the rich people (if you pick #2, move to North Korea or China, they got a system like that. The US doesn't.)
It was the mainstream media that helped him win the election, and he did purchase them. He also bought other liberal illuminati to back him, and that is how he won.
