Senate Democrats running in 2012 will be trying to hold their jobs in states where Republicans just scored major congressional and gubernatorial victories — Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, New Mexico and Virginia.
The Democrats' problems don't end with senators.
A poll out on Monday shows Republican Susana Martinez holding a 9-point lead over Democrat Diane Denish in the governor's race.KRQE
The polls of 750 likely-voters shows Martinez with 52 percent to 43 percent lead in the New Mexico Governor's race.
In addition to Monday's poll out from Rasmussen, several political websites have recently re-categorized New Mexico's Race for Governor from "Toss-Up" to "Leaning To Martinez."
