New York: Republican Running Strong In Democrat County

The survey released late Monday says that endorsed Democrat James Keane has 35 percent of the vote, followed by Republican Challenger Chris Collins with 34 percent.

Collins, a CEO and investor in several local companies, could be riding a wave of economic worries, in a county where Democrats outnumber Republicans by 120,000 votes. The Zogby Poll says 53 percent of voters list jobs and economic development as their number one issue in the race, followed closely by taxes. At the same time, a large majority --65 percent -- say business experience is more suitable for reforming and rejuvenating Erie County government.

"This is a dry run against free speech in America by the Islamists and the illegal aliens who are now becoming one and the same," said Savage in August. "It's the same organizational structure. I am the target of this dry run. They want to see how far they can get in silencing a voice of freedom in the United States of America. They want to see which, if any, governmental agencies will stop them."

"Guess what they learned so far?" he continued. "That not only will no governmental agency stop them in their attempts to kill free speech, they will aid them in their attempts to kill free speech. We have lost our freedoms already.

Ann Romney Launches Website; Features Struggle With Multiple Sclerosis

Mitt Romney Press Release:
Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President launched its newest website, AnnRomney.com. As the premier location for information about Ann and her family, visitors to AnnRomney.com will get an insider's perspective into Ann's time on the campaign trail, the Romney family and Ann's causes. The website is a unique forum for people to connect directly with Ann.

"Campaigning with Mitt has been such an incredible experience. One of the best parts about being on the campaign trail is the opportunity to meet so many great Americans that we might not have otherwise met. Here at AnnRomney.com, I hope people from across the country will get to know a little bit more about me, my causes and the importance of family in my life. Our campaign is doing so many creative things online, and I'm proud that this site will be a part of that," said Ann Romney.

Central to AnnRomney.com is "Ann's Causes," a section detailing Ann's struggle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and her work to promote awareness about the disease. As Ann writes on the website, she is "continually amazed by the number of people who approach me to offer support and relay their struggles and successes with MS." Through AnnRomney.com, she will continue to build awareness about the disease, support networks and treatments. On the website, Ann writes:

"As I learned more about the disease, I learned this is a very common feeling and have made an effort to reach out to newly diagnosed friends, family members and people I meet on the road to simply talk to them about their concerns and fears. I don’t think anyone can prepare for a diagnosis such as this, but I was very fortunate to have the love and support of my husband, my family and my friends, and if by making a phone call to a newly diagnosed patient, I can ease a few of those fears, it is worth it. If you, or someone you know, has recently been diagnosed, please click here."

Visitors to AnnRomney.com can also see video, news coverage and photos from Ann's time on the campaign trail. In the coming weeks and months, the website will be continually updated.

AnnRomney.com Features:

Ann's Causes: "I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in the fall of 1998. Since then, I have devoted a great deal of time to raising awareness about the disease and am devoted to making a difference in the lives of people who suffer from MS."

AnnTV: A companion of MittTV, this web video channel will allow visitors to watch video clips of Ann's speaking engagements and interviews.

AnnWire: A section with the most recent news stories about Ann Romney and her family on the campaign trail.

Ann's Recipes: "I'm sure many of you have heard Mitt talk about the importance of what happens within the four walls of the American home. And for our family, like so many others, the kitchen lies at the heart of our home. … I want to use this area of the website to collect favorite family recipes from across America."

Israelis Seized Nuclear Material in Sept. 6 Raid in Syria

Israeli commandos seized nuclear material of North Korean origin during a daring raid on a secret military site in Syria before Israel bombed it this month, according to informed sources in Washington and Jerusalem.

The attack was launched with American approval on September 6 after Washington was shown evidence the material was nuclear related, the well-placed sources say.

They confirmed that samples taken from Syria for testing had been identified as North Korean. This raised fears that Syria might have joined North Korea and Iran in seeking to acquire nuclear weapons.

Ogonowski May be Pivot GOP Turns Around On

Jim Ogonowski does not even have to win. If he can manage to make this a close race in an overwhelmingly Democrat district and state, it will show that the bleeding from 2006 has stopped. This, and a win by Bobby Jindal in Louisiana's gubernatorial race will help restore a lot of the confidence the GOP lost last November.
